Merry Christmas, And Have A Happy New Year

My prediction is that blogging will be even lighter than usual for the next week…unless Obama or the Republican party do something stupider than the norm. It’s possible, but the norm has been moving steadily into “I simply cannot believe that they did that” territory. It will take something big to move us off the couch and away from the platters and low ball glasses.

So, to all of our readers (we hit 40,000 visitors on Monday!); thank you for giving us your time and in many cases your thoughtful comments.

Hopefully the New Year will bring a few more contributors to this blog, but since most of those who expressed interest are rather conservative, they do not take well to rules and conformity. Herding cats is the term, and it makes a lot of sense.

Cheers,
CBD

  1. Merry Christmas to you, CBD!

It would be a wonderful Christmas present if the political hacks (from both ends of the spectrum) would simply vanish between now and New Year’s, both “in person” and via teevee ads. I’d vote for an even longer period of away-time, but I don’t wanna be greedy…a small, simple present would do.

In the meantime, I’ll again wish you and the perpetrators and readers of this here blog a very Merry Christmas!

  2. It’s what we do, Speedster.

Can’t spend all our time fleecing the goyim, can we? Not that I’ve ever been good at it….

When you grow up in an area where “Merry Christmas” is the default sentiment this time of year, and you notice it makes people happy, that kinda takes what ever small amount of sting there is out of it.

Besides, CBD didn’t admonish us to all head for our Kwanzaa Huts, so I’m okay with it.

  3. Ah…Kwanzaa…a fake holiday created by a hard-core communist. If Black America’s vibrant family-centric culture hadn’t been destroyed By The Great Society, they wouldn’t need that bullshit!

  4. I’ve expressed interest in contributing. But, I determined, it’s fruitless to offer opposing opinions with such strong-willed well-read pundits.

I do enjoy the occasional read, though, as someone who agrees somewhat with some of the analysis. Looking forward to more in 2016 and beyond.
