I think you are correct to be skeptical of RFK Jr. I don’t trust the guy because for years I have regarded him as an old-school anti-vax crank. Many years ago his hobby horse was the preservative thimerosal, The facts are hazy in my mind now, but I believe he was able to enrich himself representing people who were supposedly injured by this chemical by dipping into a fund created to compensate people injured by adulterated vaccines. Thimerosal is on the ingredient list, that’s not what “adulterated” means. I don’t think there was any good objective evidence that thimerosal injured anyone, and I don’t think there is good evidence that it is linked to autism.
HOWEVER: in the intervening years it has become apparent that the public health apparatus and at least some of the pharma companies have lied their asses off. I used to think that all the vaccines that we use have been well tested. Certainly for the mRNA jabs that is not true. What else that I have believed is not true? I’m not sure.
I am fine with ending vaccine mandates as Florida has done. I would like to get an honest look at the possible causes of this country’s undeniable chronic disease problems. I’m not sure honesty is even possible in our society now, and I am also not sure that RFK Jr. is the man for the job. On the other hand, I don’t want to see Big Pharma and their bought-off Senators force him out.
