The Morning Report 10/28/19

Good morning kids. Monday and there a few things breaking besides the reaction and fallout from the US-planned and executed raid that took out ISIS caliph/leader al-Baghdadi. First up, Congressman John Conyers has died at the age of 90. Aside from being the longest-serving black Congressman and being a typical crackpot leftist eager to undermine our foreign policy abroad and sow discord at home, his career highlights include corruption and ethics violations involving him and his wife as well as sexual harassment and abuse charges that ultimately led to his resignation in late 2017. Like virtually all long-serving elected officials that represent inner cities, they leave their constituencies in utter shambles and their bank accounts flush with cash. Well, fresh off Elijah Cummings’ joining of the Choir Invisible, at least we have another Wellstone-like Nuremberg Rally for the Left to bash Trump and America to endure.

The other item that broke late Sunday is Katie “Cheap Thrill” Hill will resign from Congress in the wake of a coming ethics investigation into her sexual escapades which put her in compromising positions, as evidenced by a lurid photographic record. The fact that the frosh Rep sat on House committees involving national security also made her a potential target for blackmail. But honestly, given the anti-Americanism that’s part and parcel of every Democrat, especially the new batch that came in in 2011, blackmail on the part of our foreign enemies would be a redundancy. In any case, given the fact that the Democrats control the House, and a propagandistic media always ready to provide air cover, I’m kind of surprised she relented so quickly. I’ll take that as a net positive.

AL-BAGHDADI ISIS RAID

Now, on to the main event. The raid that took out ISIS “caliph” Al-Baghdadi was yet another national security and policy win for President Trump on a number of levels. First, despite the blasting of the President for our withdrawal from the area, the so-called “abandoned” Kurds actually helped and participated in the operation. Ironically as the mission was completed, the culturally irrelevant and unfunny Saturday Night Live aired a sketch depicting Trump as a coddler/enabler of ISIS, which has essentially been the party line in the Democrat-Media Complex since the withdrawal of our ground forces. 

The reaction from those quarters to the President’s description of the target and the raid itself has ranged from idiotic to disgusting. Here we have a medieval bloodthirsty thug who has committed murder, mayhem and rape, including that of American citizens, and the Washington Post describes him as “an austere cleric.” Meanwhile the eggheads and Sergeant Pepper generals are having the vapors because the President’s accurate description of Baghdadi as a coward who died like a dog might enrage terrorists to strike us. Um, what the actual fuck have they been doing to us for the past 30 years and, in fact, 1,400, geniuses? It’s the insane inversion of these evil vermin and their sick totalitarian political ideology-cum-pseudo religion into peace loving victims of America, western civilization and Jooz that has amped up and ramped up their rage. Obama gave Osama a dignified burial at sea with an imam (or a chaplain acting as a stand-in IIRC) presiding over the affair and what did that get us? In fact, Obama’s precipitous bug-out from Iraq in the first place left a power vacuum that created ISIS in the first place, or has everyone forgotten that? I’m sure the troll contingent will be quick to point the finger at Trump for “abandoning the Kurds and inciting ISIS” despite the fact of what this raid has done, and the lack of a geopolitical/strategic understanding of the area in question. No matter. The fact is the President is willing not to sugarcoat things in PC gobbledygook and call things as it and normal people see them. That’s what makes him so appealing as a political figure and as a leader. What’s done is done and it’s another good day to be an American. Well, the walls are definitely closing in… not on Trump but perhaps on some of the big fish that plotted the greatest crime in American political history, which is still ongoing, as we all know. Margot Cleveland with two articles today, first on Sydney Powell with a bombshell on how the FBI framed her client Michael Flynn. Seriously, I would love to see him exonerated and then reinstated as National Security Adviser in time to serve in Trump’s second term. Also, Cleveland zeroes in on John Brennan, Maria Butina says she was framed into making a plea deal, Texas Rep John Ratcliffe says it’s no coincidence the announcing of charges in Durham’s investigation as we anticipate the IG report, interesting piece that touches upon several angles in the impeachment/coup attempt and Roger Kimball muses on whether James Clapper will pull a Sammy “the bull” Gravano on Comey, Brennan and who knows whom else. Tick tock.

IMPEACHMENT FOLLIES

The race is on to bamboozle the public while discrediting the real charges and bombshells about to explode and bust things wide open (please G-d), Jim Jordan presses Schiff-for-Brains to Schiff or get off the pot, Tubby Riefenstahl is delusional, and Mollie Hemingway lays down the gauntlet to the GOP; you’re either with us or with the terrorists.

AMNESTY, IMMIGRATION, MIGRANT INVASION, BORDER SECURITY

Trump dead right about the travel ban, why the border wall is now vital as Mexico devolves into chaos, outgoing DHS head McAleenen, no big Trump booster at all, tells Congressional committee to pound sand, illegal alien arrested in Chicago for killing two legal immigrants via drunk driving, and most of Massachusetts’ drug deaths are coming from south of the border, not prescription pads.

John Conyers now as dead as the district he once represented, Joe Bidet goes begging, Dem Senators freaking out that Hillary might collapse into the race, Trump raising big bucks but quietly, DNC winnowing the field for the next magic show, a Venezuelan ex-pat and Bill Maher slam Dems for their insane policy positions and, to underscore it, most Americans are not keen on reparations.
