The Morning Report 1/22/21

Good morning, kids. The weekend is here and the rollercoaster of emotions are back. After the Enemy stole the election, my mood violently rocked Voyage-to-the-Bottom-of-the-Sea explosion-like, back and forth between hope and despair. Now actually, since the installation ceremony of Josef Visarrionovich Robinette Stolin on Wednesday that made a low grade Triumph of the Willouttake look like the “Broadway Melody” number from Singin’ in the Rain, my emotions believe it or not have lifted somewhat — from abject dread to mere depression. 

Look, there is no getting around the fact that we are at the mercy not only of Obama’s merry band of insane Maoists, but who are now unchained after four years of watching one man – one great American and one of the greatest presidents ever – reverse the disaster of the previous eight years (and more really) that they inflicted on us, and are frothing at the mouth and out for blood. A good deal of that rage is not only the reversal, but the demonstration that every policy position, every social, cultural and political belief were one by one, over the course of the past four years dismantled and demonstrated for all the world to see to be utterly wrong to the point of farcical. 

Remember the halcyon days of late 2016 when then-candidate Trump promised to return millions of jobs back to America, an America that Obama and the Democrat Party insisted was in decline (because of their actions) and who actually boasted about his (Obama’s) ability to manage the decline and make our national sublimation as painless as possible? Obama asked “what’s he gonna do, wave a magic wand?” Well, Trump sure did. It’s called free market capitalism, deregulation, low taxes, and tariffs that level the playing field to make free trade fair. Jobs came back in the millions, manufacturing concerns opened new plants, minorities and the poor went off the welfare and food stamp rolls and got to work in astounding, record-breaking numbers. The greatest economic boom was yuuge, luxurious, obvious and to Obama and his globalist cronies, was the equivalent of having the dog poo they soiled the carpet with not only rubbed in their faces, but rammed back up their kiesters.

Well, we all know the score since then. So, why do I feel a bit more upbeat, for lack of a better word? Because, despite the fact that virtually every instrumentality of government and political process (I’m looking at the GOP) as well as the media, academia and shockingly more and more of the private sector are in league with what can only be described as a junta, nearly 80 million people did not vote for this, and perhaps another 100-150 million who didn’t participate in the election want no part of it. With upwards of two thirds of the populace believing that those in power are illegitimate, that is not a recipe for “unity.” It’s a powder keg. 

Even if Uncle Joe Stolin was sincere about unity, the only way to unify a country is if the two sides had something in common that was far above policy differences. It’s what’s known in the trade as a “shared national identity.” At least the Union and the Confederacy shared a Judeo-Christian ethic as well as the Constitution, despite the interpretation of the latter being a major factor in a bloody civil war. The Leftists and us normal Americans share nothing in common. They view us, our culture, history and heritage as a cancer to be eradicated. They seek our subjugation or destruction. And that lack of commonality is potentially infinitely more destructive than even that which drove us apart in 1861. Had the Confederacy won, they’d have gained their independence and left the rest of Union alone, other factors notwithstanding. That is a non-starter with the current junta, its allies, voters and vote forgers. 

And oddly enough, that is the source of my mood elevation, as such. Given the mood of the population, there is really no room for this junta to make any mistake or overreach, or otherwise further antagonize tens of millions of pissed off people. But given who they are, their arrogance and their Gott mit uns attitude means its only a matter of time before they do exactly that. Who had 12 hours? Come get your prize. Malig-Nancy Pelosi and Cuck Schemer are evidently starting up not only a completely illegal and unconstitutional post-presidency impeachment of President Trump, they are also attempting to expel and even criminally prosecute members of Congress who objected to the Electoral College results on January 6th, Black Wednesday. And the FBI is now attempting to identify anyone who was in the Capitol building and send them up the river. Insult? Meet Injury! The National Guardsmen who were used as props while at the same time blood-libeled as white supremacists and potential assassins at the inaugural were housed like livestock in a DC parking garage before being told to get the hell out of the city so that their odor would not offend the delicate sensibilities of our elites.

I hope every Guardsmen there has a long memory, and is keeping their powder dry.
