“When Donald Trump goes away the Democrats ability to call him the anti-Christ and run against him goes away too. JD Vance can motivate young voters in a way Trump cannot.”
I think that paraphrase of CBD’s comment on the pod is close to accurate, and I think he is (uncharacteristically) completely wrong. Vance is, if anything, hated more already. His sins are numerous but the primary one is he is a Republican. And GOP candidates are axiomatically the anti-Christ.
Already, AWFL’s of my acquaintance talk viciously about JD. He is detested.
CBD, best wishes for your coming trip.
My wife and daughter toured England and Scotland for two weeks this past summer. They came back happy, so I assume that they didn’t encounter any problems there.
I always wanted to visit NYC (San Fran, too). That’s off the list. Phooey.
