  1. I completely agree with Dave on his election analysis. Up here in Minnesocold only 10% of the true believers are voting democrat, if at all. Great podcast as usual, team.

  2. I think the concern over Ukraine as it suggests nuclear exchange is very overblown. This is theater at this point. Putin knows the minute he launches a nuke, of any kind, he’s toast. He knows it, we know it, the Ukrainians know it.

There is much to consider about the fight, Russia’s poor performance, the West’s $$ and weapons flow to Ukraine, etc.

Our strategic goal is to keep Russia bogged down in Ukraine, ensuring this is the last Russian war.

Biden is an idiot for sure, but whoever is running our operation in the DOD and CIA is doing a wonderful job.

  3. Interesting take. I agree that the chance of a nuclear exchange is small, and while the strategic goal is laudable, it is being executed terribly. There is no reason to be inflammatory, and the amount of money we are spending on this adventure is obscene.

  4. Thanks! And yes, his take on the various races are always interesting, and damn, the amount of information he is synthesizing for us is amazing!

  5. Noting that there is a lot of support for Putin within Russia is a very good point, and that anyone who were to follow him would be even more hard line. The Russians are like a lot of folks everywhere thinking that if we go into a war, lets win it.
Funny how we are not hearing this.

  6. From my experience in redeployments (returning from a deployment), it is my opinion that Biden leaving $80 billion of weapons, equipment and communications was not an unforced error, but that it was deliberate. I also think the reason main reasons are to give China our technology to reverse engineer it and to shift power in the middle east in favor of the enemies of Israel.

  7. Fantastic episode, only worry the fraud factor here in Pa helped by the governor and his picked Secretary of State who will do everything to promote it including breaking laws with immunity

  8. Enjoyable as always, gents. Dave, I always like to read (or hear, in this case) your analysis and I sure hope you are right! I’d love a landslide in our favor.

I looked up that Oregon gubernatorial candidate and holy cow, you’re right – straight out of central casting. Kind of what the lovechild of Anderson Cooper and Rachel Maddow would look like, if such a thing could happen.
