“NOW we got some steenkeeng badges!!!”

James O’Keefe, a real journalist in the truest sense of the word, created quite a stink when in August of 2014, to illustrate the absurdity of the administration’s claim that our southern border was secure, waded across the Rio Grande dressed up as Osama Bin Laden.  Suffice it to say, Mr. Obama was not amused. For those not familiar with O’Keefe and his group, Project Veritas is a non-profit investigative organization that has made its bones uncovering fraud and corruption in both government and the private sector. It came to national prominence back in 2009 when he and colleague Hannah Giles went undercover to expose massive voter fraud committed by the Federally funded community activist/leftist front group ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), resulting in their defunding and dissolution.

Ever since, he has become a national hero to concerned citizens while earning the enmity of the legacy media outlets by doing the job they’re supposed to be doing. He has also made enemies of the Left and the Obama regime. The latter’s pettiness and vindictiveness has evidently reared its head against O’Keefe – yet again.

… Prior to O’Keefe exposing our porous southern border and the incompetency of [Customs & Border Protection], he had never been detained when reentering the United States. Subsequently, O’Keefe has been detained following each and every one of his six reentries into the United States.

It gets worse. Not content with just inconveniencing O’Keefe, Obama’s unionized goon squad messes around with him each time he’s detained.  But, our boys in blue don’t realize that they’re on candid camera.

… CBP officers are captured [on hidden camera] asking such incredulous questions as “Who do you think is going to win the Republican Primary” and “Would you really support Trump as a nominee?”

In another segment, these defenders of our safety and security grill him about how many YouTube hits his videos have received and “ain’t you dat guy dat was in disguise or something?” Clearly, these are gross violations of O’Keefe’s Constitutional rights as a citizen and are intended to intimidate him into changing his evil ways. The takeaways for this author are:

  • The rest of the media are silent because a) O’Keefe is horning in on their territory (and doing what “60 Minutes” is allegedly supposed to be doing – and better), and b) the rest of the media are in business to protect Obama, Democrats and the leftist agenda as a whole.
  • The law enforcement arms of the Federal bureaucracy are now occupied evidently with armed thugs who have no compunction about persecuting a law-abiding citizen at the behest of the President of the United States. Not just Lois Lerner-level administrators, but the grunts in the trenches.

Here’s CBP’s mission statement, from their own website:

This is the part that worries me the most. We now have a significant number of soulless stormtroopers (for lack of a better word) that are willing to harass, oppress, and even kill citizens that they know have done no wrong.

This makes the prospect of resistance, whether at the ballot or otherwise, worrisome for family men. It is one thing to risk your own freedom or life. But it is very hard to take the chance of having SWAT bust in the house and shooting your wife or kids.

While I think the Bundy ranch fellow would be a poor choice to hold up as an example, the govt. reaction showed clearly that the only thing that kept it from becoming another Waco or Ruby Ridge was the presence of a lot of observers (and potential participants) with cameras.

  2. Exactly my implication which I did not put in words. And it spills over into the military, at least up at the highest flag officer level.

Worrisome when Israel strikes Iran, since Obama promised them that we would defend Iran in the event of an Israeli attack.

I don’t even want to think about a response to an insurrection in this country.

  3. The romantic in me thinks that American troops would never fire on American citizens.

    Am I correct? I sure hope so…..

  4. I tend to agree with you. It’s the flag officer corps that has been completely corrupted and politicized with flunkies and ass-kissers that I’m worried about.
