Our culture has descended so far into madness that we need laws to protect minors from life-changing mutilation at the hands of their parents and physicians.
The “Trans Movement” is the left’s tip of the spear in its attacks on Western culture and traditional American society, and it will surprise no one but disgust all moral people that they are perfectly happy to use and discard children as pawns in this battle for our culture.
Alabama Senate passes bill that would ban hormone therapy, surgery for transgender minors
According to The Hill, the legislation, dubbed the Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act, passed the state’s upper chamber in a 23-4 vote Tuesday, and is now headed to the Alabama House of Representatives where it has a good chance of approval. CBS News pointed out that the House “has already approved a companion bill.”
If signed into law, the act would mean medical professionals caught providing treatments to youth under the age of 19 with care for gender transition would face a felony conviction with up to 10 years in jail or a $15,000 fine.
“Children aren’t mature enough to make these decisions on surgeries and drugs,” said Sen. Shay Shelnutt (R), who sponsored the bill, according to the Associated Press. “The whole point is to protect kids.”
So the good people of Alabama are fighting back, and good for them! Maybe there is something in the water in blue cities where it seems most of this brutal treatment of children is occurring, but clearly Alabamans want no part of it. Maybe they are just smarter than the typical blue state parental unit, and understand that children are simply not mature enough or equipped with the tools necessary to make these sorts of decisions. A cursory glance at the behavior of children all over the world would expose that stupidity. My grandfather was a pediatrician, and he laughingly described children as, “Psychotic dwarves with a good prognosis.” But there is an element of truth to that!
Interestingly there are no pressure groups for other Body Dysmorphic Disorders like Bulimia and Anorexia, because it is self evident that those psychiatric issues are destructive and require comprehensive therapy. yet we celebrate the “Trans” movement’s victims instead of helping them.
Imagine a parent (and a physician who assisted with medication) who supported his daughter’s desire to lose weight to the point that her health was endangered. Friends and family would be shocked, and act to end this clearly insane behavior, no doubt appealing to government if their efforts were unsuccessful. And that is how it should be.
Is there any difference between anorexia and the insanity of “Trans” people? They attempt suicide at a shocking rate; one recent study found that more than 40% had attempted suicide. Shouldn’t the more backward parts of America defer to the wise people of Alabama and help these children, rather than mutilate them and put them on the road to a lifetime of misery and possibly an early death.
