  1. Much appreciated this year. Your podcast is always highly anticipated.

BTW, one foreign policy disaster that hasn’t received the attention it deserves is the India/Russia rapprochement. Last week, India and Russia cut a “special privileged” trade deal, a joint weapons deal, a security deal, and issued a joint statement slamming the United States.

    The junta hardly noticed.

  2. I had a nervous chuckle about “next year.” One thing I wanted to talk about was the East Palestine disaster that the junta ignored and ignores to this day.

    Happy new year, Huck!

  3. Someone asked Resident Poopypants about East Palestine just the other day, and they had to remind him of what the reference is to. He completely forgot.

Best to you and the whole pod-crew, JJ. May your 2024 be a good year!

  4. Outstanding podcast, and the best one yet! Thanks for the intelligent and educational discussion. I believe the future is filled with hope because we have God on our side.

I believe it would be helpful to have a regular feature that strives to educate us all on the economy. What do all those numbers really mean in terms of our everyday lives? I have been reading (and re-reading) Thomas Sowell’s excellent “Basic Economics.” While it is an enjoyable read, apparently my post-29 brain needs repeated applications of knowledge in order to retain the wisdom!

  5. Legally Sufficient:

It might be on YouTube but I mentioned in the podcast a PBS (of all places) production of Milton Friedman’s “Free to Choose.” I assume the book is available at the usual outlets.

Best wishes for a happy new year.
