I don’t think Ted Cruz can even run for President until he can assure Republican voters that being born in Canada is not a problem. Doubt!

I am reasonably confident that Ted Cruz’s mother was an American citizen when she gave birth to Ted.
Yeah…that’s it. I am not interested in anything else. Except for my growing embarrassment that Donald Trump is everything I suspected he was, but hoped he wasn’t. First and foremost being an asshole.
Yeah, Ima just leave this here:

Yes….sacrifice the lives of its people; the continuity of its civilization; the viability and existence of its religion.
Seems reasonable.
CBD: for any naysayers who don’t get it: there are only two kinds of citizens – natural-born and naturalized. “Natural-born” means citizenship is inherent at birth; “naturalized” means one became a citizen at some point after being born.
For all the doubters screaming about Cruz, one need look no further than our own government’s explanation of the law: https://www.uscis.gov/us-citizenship/citizenship-through-parents
Ted Cruz, born 12/22/1970, falls into this category: mother an American citizen, parents married, born in another country, and his mother had been physically present in American territory for at least one year. End of story. He is a natural-born citizen.
My biggest issue with this is that Ted Cruz is younger than me.
@Tommy
So is Rubio.
